14 Wrong Practice in Ramadan

14 Wrong Practice in Ramadan

Here are some of the mistakes made in the month of Ramadan which is widespread among the Muslims.

1. Bury specializes Pilgrimage Toward Ramadan

It is not just the belief that before the month of Ramadan is prime time for religious visit to the tomb of the parents or relatives (known as “nyadran”). We may at any time make a pilgrimage to the tomb of our hearts more tender because of remembering the dead. But the problem is if someone specializing grave pilgrimages at certain times and believe that Ramadan is a time ahead of the main nyadran or nyekar. It was a mistake because there is no basis of Islamic teachings that menuntunkan this.

2. (Padusan), Big Bathroom, or Keramasan Welcoming Ramadan

It is not just practice some people who welcomed Ramadan with a large bath or keramasan first. Such practice is also no guidance at all from the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Worse bath of this kind (known as “padusan”) there is also doing mixed up men and women in a bathhouse. It really is a big mistake for not heeding the rules of Islam. How can Ramadan greeted with acts that could bring the wrath of God!

3. Establishing Ramadhan Beginning with Hisab

The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,

إنا أمة أمية, لا نكتب ولا نحسب, الشهر هكذا وهكذا

“Surely we are a people who are illiterate. We do not wear kitabah (writing) and not also use the computation (in the setting of the moon). That month like this (he berisyarat with number 29) and like this (he berisyarat with the number 30). “(Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

Ibn Bazizah said, “these schools (which sets the beginning of Ramadan with a computation) is false and Shari’ah schools have banned explore the science of augury (reckoning) because science is only approximate (dzon) and not the exact science (qoth’i) or strong suspicion. So if a case (eg the initial determination of ramadan, pen) was associated only with the arithmetic of this then this religion will be severely limited because no one mastered the science of reckoning except very few. “(Fathul Baari, 6 / 156)

4. Fasting Ramadan precede with One or Two Days Earlier

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,

لا يتقدمن أحد الشهر بيوم ولا يومين إلا أحد كان يصوم صياما قبله فليصمه

“Do not precede Ramadan by fasting one or two days in advance, except for someone who is accustomed to fast on that day then puasalah.” (Narrated by Tirmidhi and classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh Sunan wa Dho’if Nasa’i)

The day was also forbidden to fast because today is the day of doubt. And the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,

من صام اليوم الذي يشك فيه فقد عصى أبا القاسم صلى الله عليه وسلم

“Whoever fasted the day of the doubt then he has disobeyed Abul-Qasim (ie Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, pen).” (Narrated by Abu Daud and Tirmidhi, said to be saheeh by Shaykh al-Albani in Saheeh Sunan Tirmidhi wa Dho’if)

5. Melafazhkan Intention “Nawaitu Shouma Ghodin …”

Actually there is no guidance at all for this kind of intention melafazhkan because there was no basis of orders or actions of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, as well as from the companions. The location of the actual intention is the heart and not on verbal. An-Nawawi rahimahullah great scholars of the Shafi’i madhhab-say,

لا يصح الصوم إلا بالنية ومحلها القلب ولا يشترط النطق بلا خلاف

“It is not legitimate unless someone with the intention of fasting. Location of intention is in the heart, is not required to pronounce and this opinion there is no dispute among the scholars. “(Rowdhotuth Tholibin, I/268, Mawqi’ul Waroq-Maktabah Syamilah)

6. Wake “Sahur … Sahur”

Actually, Islam already has its own procedures to demonstrate bolehnya time eating and drinking is the first call to prayer before dawn call to prayer. While the second call to prayer when the dawn call to prayer is to show diharamkannya eat and drink. Here’s how to tell the Muslims that is still allowed to eat and drink and tell the end of meal time. So it is not appropriate to wake the Muslims chanted, “dawn … dawn ….” Either through speakers or even come into the houses like knocking on the door. How to wake up like this really no guidance at all from the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam also never been done by the best generations of this ummah. So, let that be done is to implement the call to prayer twice. The first Adhan for the show is still permissible to eat and drink. Athan second to show diharamkannya eat and drink. Ibn Mas’ud radi ‘anhu has wonderful advice, “Follow (the instructions of the Prophet sallallaahu’ alaihi wa sallam, pen), do not make a heretic. Because (sunna) that is enough for you. “(See discussion at Tashiir at Al Bida ‘al Hawliyah, p.. 334-336)

7. Ruling Pensyariatan Time (Stop eating 10 or 15 minutes before dawn)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,

كلوا واشربوا ولا يهيدنكم الساطع المصعد فكلوا واشربوا حتى يعترض لكم الأحمر

“Eat and drink. Do not you be scared by the beam (white) is looming. Eat and drink so that it looks for you in red across it. “(Narrated by Tirmidhi, Abu Daud, Ibn Khuzaimah. In Shohih Dho’if wa Sunan Abu Daud, Sheikh Al Albani said that this hadith is hasan saheeh). So this hadeeth into the proposition that the Ruling (refrain from eating and drinking) is since the dawn shodiq-dawn call to prayer echoed when-and not the 10 minutes before the dawn call to prayer. This is consistent with the guidance of Allah and His Messenger.

In the hadith of Anas, Zaid bin Thabit that he never ate the meal with the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, then he sallallaahu’ alaihi wa sallam stood up to pray. Anas then said, “How long is the distance between iqomah and your meal?” Then Zaid said, “About 50 verses.” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). Look at how long the distance between dawn and iqomah? Is one hour! The answer: Not too long, even very close to the time of dawn prayer which is about to read 50 verses of the Qur’an (about 10 or 15 minutes)

8. Ruling When Breaking “Allahumma Laka Shumtu Aamantu Bika wa …”

There are some reports which talk about this kind of prayer when breaking. Among these are the Sunan Abu Dawud no. 2357, Ibnus Sunni in ‘Amalul Yaum wal Begin no. 481 and no. 482. However the hadiths that discuss this practice is weak hadiths. Among these there are mursal hadith is considered weak by expert scholars of hadith. Also there perowi who narrated the hadith is considered weak and a liar (See Dho’if Abu Dawud no. 2011 and footnote Al Adzkar that ditakhrij by ‘Ishomuddin Ash Shobaabtiy).

The prayer is recommended when the break is,

ذهب الظمأ وابتلت العروق وثبت الأجر إن شاء الله

“Dzahabazh zhoma-u wabtallatil ‘uruqu tsabatal ajru wa inshallah (meaning: The thirst has gone and the veins have been wet, and the reward has been established if Allah wills)” (Narrated by Abu Daud. It is said hasan by Shaykh al-Albani in Shohih wa Dho’if Sunan Abi Daud)

9. Dhikr in Jamat With commandeered Tarawih Prayers and Prayer Five Times

Shaykh Abdul ‘Aziz ibn Baz rahimahullah when describing the dhikr after prayer, “It is not allowed the congregation to read dizkir the congregation. But what exactly is everyone reading dhikr individually without dikomandai by others. Because the congregation dhikr (together) is something that no guidance in this holy Islamic law. “(Majmoo ‘Fataawa Ibn Baaz, 11/189)

10. “Ash Sholaatul Jaami’ah …” to summon Jamat in Tarawih Prayer

Hambali scholars argue that there are no words to call the congregation by saying “Ash Sholaatul Jaami’ah …” According to them, this includes the case that was held-held (read: heresy). (See Al Mawsu’ah Al Fiqhiyyah Al Kuwaiti, 2 / 9634, Ash Syamilah)

11. Disperse before Imam Finish Night Prayers

The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,

إنه من قام مع الإمام حتى ينصرف كتب له قيام ليلة

“Anyone who prays with the imam until he finishes, then the reward of praying qiyaam written for her one full night.” (Narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi. Shaykh al-Albani in al-Irwa ‘447 said that this hadeeth saheeh). If the priest praying tarawih plus witr prayer, congregation was supposed to come complete with priests. That is more appropriate.

12. Nuzulul Quran Celebrations

Celebrations Nuzulul Koran had never been exemplified by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, also never exemplified by the companions. The scholars Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama said,

لو كان خيرا لسبقونا إليه

“If the good deeds, surely they (the companions) had preceded us to do it.” These words of the scholars at every practice or act which was never done by the Companions. They classify these acts as a heresy. Because the friends are not seeing any good unless they will do so immediately. (See Tafseer Al-Quran Al ‘Azhim, on the interpretation of Al Ahqof paragraph 11)

13. Paying Zakat ul-Fitr with Money

Shaykh Abdul ‘Aziz bin’ Abdillah Bin Baz said, “If the currency is considered valid in pay Zakat ul-Fitr, of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam would explain this. The reason is, because it’s forbidden for him sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam when mengakhirkan explanation is needed. If he sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam to pay Zakat ul-Fitr by money, of the friends-radi’ anhum-be quoting the news. We also did not know there was a companion of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam who pay Zakat ul-Fitr in money. Though the friends are the most knowledgeable man Sunnah (teachings) of Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and the most vibrant in the running Sunnah. If there is among those who pay zakat ul-Fitr by money, of course this will was quoted as saying and deeds relating to other Shari’ah quoted (to us). “(Majmoo ‘Fataawa Ibn Baaz, 14/208-211)

14. The decision not Want to Return to Government Decision Day

Al Lajnah Ad Da’imah, commission Fatwa in Saudi Arabia said, “If the country of a disagreement (on setting 1 Shawwal), then the decision should be returned to Muslim rulers in the country. If the ruler is to choose an opinion, it’s gone existing disputes in the country and every Muslim is obliged to follow his opinion. “(Fataawa no. 388)

Similarly, some errors or mistakes in the month of Ramadan that we must leave and we should advise our brothers who else to leave. Of course this advice with a gentle and full of wisdom.

May Allah give us guidance, piety, the nature of ‘Afaf (keep away from things that are not allowed) and give us adequacy. May Allah make things any person reading this treatise.

Allaah wa wa salaamu ‘ala Muhammad Nabiyyina wa’ ala wa alihi shohbihi ajma’in. Walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alamin.
