Facing the Muslim attitude Slander and Chaos
From Abu Said Al-Khudri radhiallahu anhu he said: I heard the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:
يأتي على الناس زمان تكون الغنم فيه خير مال المسلم يتبع بها شعف الجبال ومواقع القطر يفر بدينه من الفتن
“There will come a time in which to man’s best treasure owned by a Muslim is a goat. He took the goat track hilltops and places of the rain, to keep religion from defamation. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 3600)
From Ahban radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam will saying to me:
ستكون فتن وفرقة فإذا كان كذلك فاكسر سيفك واتخذ سيفا من خشب
“Someday there will be lots of chaos and disunity. If you already like that then patahkanlah sword and use of wooden swords. “(Narrated by Ahmad no. 20 622)
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:
ستكون فتن القاعد فيها خير من القائم والقائم فيها خير من الماشي والماشي فيها خير من الساعي. من تشرف لها تستشرفه ومن وجد ملجأ أو معاذا فليعذ به
“Someday there will be a lot of chaos in which the person sitting in it is better than standing, standing is better than walking, and running better than trying (in defamation). Who is the face of all this then he should avoid it and who found refuge or shelter from it then he should take cover. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 3601 and Muslim no. 2886)
From Ma’qil radhiallahu anhu bin Yasar that the Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:
العبادة في الهرج كهجرة إلي
“Worshipping at the time of such haroj emigrate to me.” (Narrated by Muslim, no. 2984)
Bertubrukannya Haroj is slander and interests of people.
Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman radhiallahu anhuma said:
كان الناس يسألون رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الخير وكنت أسأله عن الشر مخافة أن يدركني فقلت يا رسول الله إنا كنا في جاهلية وشر فجاءنا الله بهذا الخير فهل بعد هذا الخير من شر قال نعم قلت وهل بعد ذلك الشر من خير قال نعم وفيه دخن قلت وما دخنه قال قوم يهدون بغير هديي تعرف منهم وتنكر قلت فهل بعد ذلك الخير من شر قال نعم دعاة على أبواب جهنم من أجابهم إليها قذفوه فيها قلت يا رسول الله صفهم لنا قال هم من جلدتنا ويتكلمون بألسنتنا قلت فما تأمرني إن أدركني ذلك قال تلزم جماعة المسلمين وإمامهم قلت فإن لم يكن لهم جماعة ولا إمام قال فاعتزل تلك الفرق كلها ولو أن تعض بأصل شجرة حتى يدركك الموت وأنت على ذلك
“Ordinary people asked the Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam about the goodness while I used to ask him about evil for fear lest I hit ugliness. So I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, our first in a period of ignorance and evil, then God came to bring good, then if after this there will be evil good again?” The Prophet replied, “Yes.” I asked, “Is that bad after there will be good again? “He replied,” Yes, but when it was no fog. “I asked,” What do you mean by the fog? “He replied,” The existence of a people that give clues to other than the instructions that I carry. You know them but at the same time you also deny it. “I asked,” Is there good after that there will be bad again? “The Prophet replied,” Yes, that is the dai-dai jahannam called to the door. Who would fill the coffers of them, they will fling him into jahannam. “I asked,” O Messenger of Allah, please Tell us about the traits they are! “The Prophet replied,” They have skin like our skin, also spoke with our language . ‘I asked, “So what you tell us when we see days like that?” The Prophet replied, “You shall always be with the congregation of the Muslims and the Imam (leader) they are!” I asked, “If at that time there is no congregation of the Muslims and the priest do? “The Prophet replied,” You shall stay away from all firqah (groups), even though you bite the roots of trees until death in a state merenggutmu you keep it that way. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 7084 and Muslim no. 1847)
As a form of perfection of Islam and the amount of affection the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam told his parishioners when he preached that the slander and chaos will surely befall this people, then beliaupun explain clearly the streets to avoid or innocent of slander and of this mess.
Among the course are:
a. As much as possible keep yourself from human contact if it is not necessary. That’s because he praised the people who stay away from the gathering place for people to keep religion from defamation.
b. Distanced himself from the things that can interfere with other people, either by keeping his verbal and keep his hands from the things that could hurt someone else like a sword. And he suggested, if he takes the sword-using only the sword of wood that normally would not cause someone else killed.
c. No plunge and went along with the slander them.
d. Take cover and stay away from such libel.
Both the attitude of the above applies to anyone, whether he was a pious man, especially if he is ignorant of religion, whether he’s a strong person especially of the weak. Therefore anyone who confronted the slander and chaos then do not let curiosity and curiosity destroys himself by trying to jump on it. Therefore anyone who has entered into a slander then only God could remove him.
Let a man ignorant of his religion did not become saviors or quasi-hero in this issue, because it really has a lot of previous pious people who were destroyed by slander, then he should be feeling sorry for himself and not feeling sorry for someone else.
e. Reproduction of worship to God, for worship will menjenihkan heart of a Muslim. With a clear mind he would be able to address a variety of defamation in front of him with the right attitude in accordance with Shari’a.
f. Steer clear of the scholars who call to misguidance.
g. Stay in touch with the scholars in the face of slander that occurred. Because the clergy were, as said by Al-Hasan Al-Basri rahimahullah:
إن هذه الفتنة إذا أقبلت عرفها كل عالم وإذا أدبرت عرفها كل جاهل
“Surely this slander, if he comes then it is known by every pious and if he’s gone then a new known by every ignorant.”
The point: The scholars have been awarded a hunch by God, so that when the libel was just going to come (yet to happen) then they already know that deeds or words that would bring libel. But if the slander is already happening or has expired and has been consuming a lot of casualties, then the ignorant say: Apparently it is slander.
h. Do not let her out of obedience to his government. In obedience to the government at the time of defamation, including the largest since a Muslim religious survival. Never he went along with all the movement on behalf Khawarij reform movement, because for the sake of Allah as this is a real movement to be the largest libel and chaos of our time.
i. Not join any group or community, whether it be a group or community on behalf of paramilitary fronts of jihad or who claim to defend Islam or the form of parties or organizations, although they are all in the name of Islam and Muslims. Because really all the groups and the community was split in the form of religion that will only exacerbate the slander and chaos.
Here are some way from the prophetic Ma’shum kalam. By Allah, whoever that is consistent with it then, God willing he will be saved in the past the brunt of the slander and chaos.
