Hasad illegitimate and Envy
لا تباغضوا ولا تحاسدوا ولا تدابروا ولا تقاطعوا وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا. لا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث
“Do not you hate each other, do not you envy each other, do not you back to each other, do you mutually decide the relationship, and be you as servants of God are brothers. It is not lawful for a Muslim to keep away from his brother more than three days. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. And Muslim no. 2559)
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:
لا تحاسدوا ولا تناجشوا ولا تباغضوا ولا تدابروا ولا يبع بعضكم على بيع بعض, وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا. المسلم أخو المسلم: لا يظلمه ولا يخذله ولا يكذبه ولا يحقره. التقوى ههنا – يشير إلى صدره ثلاث مرات – بحسب امريء من الشر أن يحقر أخاه المسلم. كل المسلم على المسلم حرام: دمه وماله وعرضه
“Do not you envy each other, do not do najasy each other, do not you guys hate each other, do not you back to each other, do not some of you buy the goods that have been purchased others, and be you as servants of God are brothers. A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim, so do not he menzhaliminya, do not be insulted, do not lie to him, and do not humiliate him. Piety is here, he pointed to his chest and he said it three times-. Suffice it to say ugly depraved a Muslim if he lowered his fellow Muslim brother. Najasy is a bid for an item with a high price-but he did not want to buy-to provoke others to bid higher prices. This usually happens in the auction process, where the actors are najasy of parties conducting the auction.
Abdullah bin Mas’ud radhiallahu anhu said: The Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
لا حسد إلا في اثنتين رجل آتاه الله مالا فسلطه على هلكته في الحق ورجل آتاه الله حكمة فهو يقضي بها ويعلمها
“They should not envy except in two things: (First) to the one whom God has given wealth and he spend it in truth. (And the second one) to a man who was given God’s wisdom (science), until she gave her decision and also teach it. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 73 and Muslim, no. 816)
Here means gibthah envy or jealousy in his favor. Namely the desire to get the same virtues as his brother without the loss of primacy of the desire of his brother.
Envy is a hate seeing other people get pleasure and he hopes the lost favor of the person, whether he expected favors it moved to her or not. It is highly reprehensible nature of which is prohibited by the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam because it could damage the good relations between people and cause them some harm others.
Unlike the case with gibthah the desire to get the same favors to those obtained by others without expecting anything in favor of the person is gone. Because this is a trait that gibthah praised and recommended by the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam.
