Rights Of Wife From Husband

Allah Ta’ala says:
“And accompany them (your wives) in a good way.” (Surat an-Nisa ‘: 19)
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
اللهم إني أحرج حق الضعيفين اليتيم والمرأة
“O Allah, I have set a sanction for the rights of two people who are weak, ie the rights of orphans and the right of a woman.” (Narrated by Ahmad no. 9289, Ibn Majah no. 3668, and declared hasan by al-Albani in Ash- Saheehah no. 1015)
Namely: Establish a witness against those who abandon the right of both men.
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam, he said:
من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فإذا شهد أمرا فليتكلم بخير أو ليسكت واستوصوا بالنساء فإن المرأة خلقت من ضلع وإن أعوج شيء في الضلع أعلاه إن ذهبت تقيمه كسرته وإن تركته لم يزل أعوج استوصوا بالنساء خيرا
“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then he witnessed an event, let him speak good or silent. Berwasiatlah to women with kindness, because they are created from a rib, and the most crooked rib is the uppermost. If you try to straighten it will undoubtedly be broken, but if you let her she will always be crooked. Therefore berwasiatlah against women with kindness. “(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 5186 and Muslim no. 1568)
From Al-Hakim ibn Mu’awiya Qushayri from his father he said: I never asked. “O Allah, what is the right of the wife of one of us over him? He replied:
“You eat when you feed him, give him clothes when you get dressed, do not hit your face, do not you menjelek-jelekkannya (with words or insults), and do not you leave it except in the house.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud no. 2142)
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
لا يفرك مؤمن مؤمنة إن كره منها خلقا رضي منها آخر
“Do not hate the woman mukminah a believer, if he hates one of temperament, he will undoubtedly pleased with the temperament of others.” (Narrated by Muslim, no. 1469)
From Abu Hurayrah radhiallahu anhu he said: The Messenger sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
أكمل المؤمنين إيمانا أحسنهم خلقا وخياركم خياركم لنسائهم خلقا
“The most perfect believers are the most good faith depraved. The best of you is the best to his wives. “(Narrated by At-Tirmidhi no. 1162)

Brief description:
As the husband has the right of his wife, the wife also have a right opposite of her husband. The husband must treat them well as they are happy to be treated well by his wife, even the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam make it as a sign of the perfection of the faith of a husband. Rights and obligations within the household is a very important factor. Because of the attention to the matter, both will always harmonious relations, and vice versa will cause division among them. Allah and His Messenger are very stressed with the rights and obligations of husband and wife, as a people was born of the family. If the good it will be good family people who were born from him, and vice versa. Therefore any husband who abandoned her right then it implies that he has been the cause of the destruction of her family and her very big sin.

Among the wives of her husband’s rights are:
1. In general, treat their wives with the treatment he was happy if his wife treats him like that.
2. Advised his wife with kindness.
3. Be patient in the full wisdom and advise him in it. Advised that its frequency does not make it boring or membangkan and it was not uncommon to make it out of the character of a good Muslim.
4. Feeding from the food he eats.
5. Giving him clothes like the clothes that he used. Mandatory minimum levels is to give his wife clothes that can cover her nakedness.
6. It should not be hitting her face.
7. Should not be reproached.
8. Should not pray with the prayer that bad.
9. Do not boycott her except within the house, which did not get him out of the house.
10. Do not hate him with a hatred that is so, because of course there is still a good case from the other side of his passions from his wife.
