Keeping The House From Satan Disorders

The house is a shelter for us, a place to rest and a place to get warm in the middle of our family. Therefore, we crave a comfortable home, safe, peaceful and quiet. Some people may walk in ways haram (shirk) to get it, such as installing tamimah (talismans), went to shamans, and others.

Messenger shallallahu’alaihi wa sallam gave a recipe that is easy to keep our homes safe from interference satan, namely in the following hadith:

From Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah that the Prophet shallallahu’alaihi wa sallam said, “When the day was dusk: take your children not to leave the house because at that time many demons roam. When time has passed, let them shut the doors of the house, call the name of God, because Satan can not open the doors closed. Close the place to drink and mention the name of Allah, cover your vessels and mention the name of Allah, even by putting something on it, and turn off the lights. “(Mutafaqqun’alaihi)

There are so many that we can avail of this hadith, in addition to protecting our homes and our children from Satan disorder, also contained avail in protecting from dirt and unclean foods derived from animals are dirty (like rats and cockroaches) in the evening , so it does not cause disease. And turned off the lights at night is to prevent fires and if the time is now to avoid wasteful use of electricity.

Hopefully we can istiqomah in practice this hadith so that our homes and families away from distractions satan.
