Shaf Sholat(prayer) : Straight and Closely

Facing the Ka’bah

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam when standing for prayers fard or sunnah prayer, he faced the Ka’bah. He ordered them to do so as his saying a prayer to the wrong person:

“When you stand for prayer, complete your wudhu(ablution), then face the Qiblat, then takbir.”

Towards The Next Roka’at

Sitting Between Two Prostration


Sitting between prostrations which is done first and the second prostration, the roka’at first to the last. There are two types of sitting between two prostrations, sitting iftirasy (sitting by putting the butt on your left foot and right foot enforced) (see picture) and sat iq’ak (sitting by enforcing both feet and sits above the heel). Wake Of The First Prostration

WAKE OF THE FIRST prostration

After the first prostration, in which every roka’at two prostrations, then later got up to sit between the two prostrations. In the wake of prostration is accompanied by the Takbir and sometimes raised their hands (Based on the hadith of Ahmad and Al-Hakim).
